These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Smart Businesswebsite and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility & accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

2. The Service

Smart Business provides an AI assistant and related tooling for small businesses. AI output is generated automatically and may be inaccurate; you are responsible for reviewing it before acting.

3. Subscriptions & payments

Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe on a recurring basis.
Prices, taxes and currencies are shown at checkout.
You can cancel at any time from Settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to follow our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate it.

5. Your content

You retain ownership of the data and content you submit. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and display it solely to operate the Service.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including software, branding and design, is owned by Smart Business and protected by intellectual property laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated.

7. Third-party services

The Service integrates with third parties (e.g. Stripe, AI providers). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to your use of those features.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that AI output will be accurate or fit for a particular purpose.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Smart Business is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for legal reasons.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts, unless your local consumer law requires otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
